Thursday, 30th Took a ramble about town this morn. with Misses Fike, Swagard and Griffen. Had my likeness taken. Went and looked at the large cannon at the Battery. E.I.R.B. E.I.d. At night met with A. J. Cox and sung several good old religious hymns, then went to bed with many heavy thoughts on my mind of my condition and prospect in life.
