Thursday, 13th This morn I am still unwell, but better than yest. E. in reading Bible. This morn a man was found in the river, drowned, of Comp C, 9 reg . To day Maj. Gen. McClellan arrived here and reviewed the troops. He is a fine looking fellow. I made the acquaintance of a man in 7 reg. to day. I felt some better in mind to day. I was some what cheered up by the reception of some letters from friends.
