Tuesday, 22d Pleasant. E.I.R.B. II Cron. 21st Eph. 1st. This morning I was relieved as officer of the day. We had battalion drill in the afternoon. In the evening Mr. Scheel of Belleville arrived here to pay us a visit. Our scouting party returned to night with a secesh Captain.
