18 November 1861

Monday, 18th Pleasant. Nothing of importance occurred to day. I had the pleasure of meeting with a man by the name of Webb to day. Corpl. Hedly died this eve. Tried to send him home but could not.

Special Order No 9 } Until further orders commissary Sergeant E. H. Burges will act as Wagon Master of the 9th Regiment I V and will be obeyed and respected as such.
